I CUT UP MY CREDIT CARD.
It's gone. Literally, no more can I rely on my credit card to get me instant material gratification. I'm not sure if it's a decision I'm going to come to regret, but right now I feel pretty bloody awesome.
I spent a bit of money today... but it was all worth it. $20 cash was spent at Kmart on a mixing bowl and brownie tray - both of which have already been given a workout. I also spent $20 at the pet shop on pet food and a leash for the kitten. All up I've had a really quiet weekend, and have proven you don't need much money to have a lovely 2 days. Today I spent the entire first half of the day cooking. I made short crust pastry tart cases, orange curd and brownies (iced!). The kitchen is a bit of a mess, but boy do I have a lot to show for it! he he he. What other posts do I have to make today? Time to check and get on it.
