I'm really proud of these figures. As you can see, I'm down an increment on my credit card, now into the $18,000's. It's only going to get lower. Down a week, and I still have over a grand in my savings account. Of course it's going to get smaller over the next few weeks, but with $800 budgeted for, that still leaves me with $468 that I can put onto my credit card, meaning I could be close to $18,500 in a matter of weeks - a real accomplishment! And a great start to this project. I'm really proud of myself. Each month is going to get better - each month I'll be paying less interest and I'll be steps closer to my financial freedom. I'd like to have some savings building at the same time, so I want to try to be responsible with my spare budgeted money. Just because I have spending money doesn't mean it has to all be spent.
